The Theme Conference: "From University Education to Lifelong Learning: the Museum as a Space of Social Convergence and Intercultural Education" was implemented with great success on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Science and Technology Museum (STM) of the University of Patras.
The Conference, organized by the STM in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs of Secondary Education of Achaia and IDEKE- Institute of Continuous Adult Education- Odysseas Educational Program, was attended by more than 120 people, faculty members of the University of Patras, students, teachers of Secondary Education of Achaia, as well as educators and students of IDEKE. The Conference is the beginning of a series of events organized by the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras, from May 11-17, 2010 on the occasion of the Celebration of the International Museum Day.
