"All Together for WATER, and WATER for All" Opening of the Temporary Exhibition "WATER at the Heart of Science"

On Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 18:30, the Science and Technology Museum will host the event "All Together for WATER, and WATER for All" to open the temporary exhibition "WATER at the Heart of Science."

The event is co-organized by the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras (UP), the French Institute of Greece in Patras, the Region of Western Greece, and the Primary Education Department of Achaia (Environmental Education and Health Education). It takes place in the framework of World Water Day and the International Day of Francophonie.

During the event, Ms. Georgia Petropoulou-Conan, Director of the French Institute of Greece in Patras, will speak about Francophonie. Additionally, Professor Eleni Zagana, Hydrogeology professor at the Department of Geology, University of Patras, will present water as a source of human civilization.

Students from the Health Education and Environmental Education Network participating in the Science and Technology Museum program "Water, Health, and Environment" will present songs, performances, and activities highlighting the significance of water for life, health, and the well-being of the planet.

The event will feature the participation of the following schools:

• Kindergartens: 2nd Patras, 47th Patras, 65th Patras, and Nautilos Private Kindergarten
• Primary Schools: 35th, 49th, 54th Patras, Experimental Primary School of the University of Patras, Rio, and 4th Aigio
