Days of Acquaintance with the STM and Screening of German Youth Cinema

The Science and Technology Museum (STM), of the University of Patras in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Directorate of Secondary Education of the Prefecture of Achaia and the Goethe Center Patras - Goethe Institute, organized at the STM for the schools of Secondary education from December 20-21, 2010 "Days of Acquaintance WITH THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PATRAS FOR THE PROMOTION OF YOUNG QUALITY GERMAN CINEMA AND AN INTRODUCTION TO THE LIFE AND WORK OF LOTTE REINIGER", in the context of the exhibition “LOTTE REINIGER: her life and work”.

LOTTE REINIGER (Berlin 1899-1981) is known as an artist of silhouette paper cutting, while at the same time she is considered one of the most creative and pioneering figures who pioneered the animated films of the 20th century.

The participating schools will be able to take a guided tour of the permanent or temporary exhibition before, or after the end of the film. All schools participating in the tour before the screening should be present one (1) hour before the start of the film.
