The ZX Spectrum+ computer was released in 1984 by Sinclair Research as an improved version of the ZX Spectrum, with the main change being its keyboard, made of plastic "chiclet"-style keys for more comfortable use, while retaining the same architecture. With a Zilog Z80A processor running at 3.5 MHz, 16 KB or 48 KB of memory, a 256×192 pixel resolution, and mono sound, it was fully compatible with the software and hardware of the previous model.
It was primarily used by students, technology enthusiasts, and home users for learning programming, enjoying video games, and basic computer education.
