Temporary Exhibition “The Earth from above”
Science & Technology Museum, University of Patras Campus, Greece
The Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras and the Department of Geology of the University of Patras and the French Institute of Greece - Patras Branch organized a temporary exhibition on “The Earth from above”, in the Foucault building of the Science and Technology Museum, from March 27 to April 25, 2014. The exhibition was designed by the French organization for the promotion of the scientific culture Center Sciences. Thanks to satellite images from the French company PlanetObserver, this exhibition enabled students to discover in an interactive way and with experiments the contribution of satellite imagery to the understanding and prediction of natural phenomena.
The exhibition organized workshops for students of all levels.
