Science & Technology Museum, University of Patras Campus, Greece
The Science and Technology Museum, in collaboration with the French Institute of Patras, hosted a temporary exhibition entitled “Water in all its states”. The exhibition is designed by the 'Garden of Science', an innovative structure of the University of Strasbourg for the protection and dissemination of its academic heritage. This structure includes museums, collections and activities to promote and disseminate its heritage. The exhibition is enriched with material from the STM, with the collaboration of faculty members and students from departments of the University of Patras and its volunteers.
The temporary exhibition has as its main theme the water in all its forms and states, with a more specialized look. Through the presentation, first, an analysis is made of what 'water' is and what its properties are. There is also detailed information about where we encounter the existence of water and in what form, as well as its key role in the development of life.
In the context of this temporary exhibition, educational activities were carried out for school groups of Primary and Secondary Education with the cooperation of students who carry out internships at the STM but also museum volunteers from various departments.
