Temporary Exhibition “The Forest, a Living Community”
Science & Technology Museum, University of Patras Campus, Greece
The Science and Technology Museum in collaboration with the Museum of Zoology and the Museum of Botany of the University of Patras and the French Institute of Patras, in the framework of World Forest Day and World Francophone Day, organized a temporary exhibition entitled “The Forest, a living community”. The exhibition was provided by the French environmental organization Good Planet and was enriched with materials from the three Museums. It gave a global view of the forest through its relationship to the ecosystem, biodiversity, natural cycles, forest species, climate change, fires, and more.
Duration of the exhibition from March 1 to September 30, 2015.
Within the framework of the exhibition, specially designed educational events were implemented for all levels of education.
