Volunteering and the Environment: The STM honors its volunteers and sponsors

On Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras (STM) and the Association of Friends of STM organize at the STM the event “Volunteering and the Environment, the STM honors its volunteers and sponsors”.

A speech will be heard by the representative of the Ecological Movement of Patras, Mr. George Kanellis, a Graduate of the National School of Public Administration and Executive of the Ecological Movement of Patras. on the subject: “Volunteering: The case of environmental organizations”. This will be followed by a presentation by the Director of the MET of innovative actions planned by the MET for the implementation of which it is looking for sponsors.

Afterward, honorary diplomas will be awarded to the volunteers as well as to the schools, which collaborated with the STM, in the framework of networks, during the academic year 2021-2022.

The event will be opened by the Choir of the 50^th Primary School of Patras and will be closed by the Choir of the Vrachneika General High School.

Upon the closing of the event, the attendees will have the opportunity to tour the premises of the STM and tour its permanent and temporary exhibitions, followed by a small reception.
