Final Network Event "The Sciences through the Arts"

The event entitled "The Sciences through the Arts" was held with great success on Friday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Science and Technology Museum. It was the final event of the Local Cultural Network of Primary and Secondary Education Schools of Achaia with the Science and Technology Museum and the Patras Visual Artists Association.

Schools from Achaia, but also a collaborating school from Ilia, presented their work on how they perceive concepts of science through art. All the school groups that took part in the event presented their work in various ways, either in the form of an exhibition or through music and dance, PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations of experiments, etc., thereby showing how each understands aspects of science using various art forms (constructions, collage, painting, video, etc.).

The schools that participated in the network and the event were the following: Kindergarten of Stavrodromio, 49^th Elementary School of Patras, Laboratory of Special Vocational Education and Training of Achaia, High School of Kato Achaia, High School of Lakkopetra, 1^st High School of Paralia, 16^th High School of Patras, High School of Andravida (Collaborator), 4^th High School of Patras, General Experimental High School of Patras.

The event was co-organized by the Science and Technology Museum, the Departments of Culture of Primary and Secondary Education of Achaia, and the Patras Visual Artists Association.
