The Museum's Collections unite us with the students

The Science and Technology Museum (STM) and the Department of Employment, Career and Liaison of the UP in collaboration with the Cooperation and Motivation of Students (Comvos) organized with great success on Thursday, May 22 at the STM, a series of Events-Festivals with the general title "The STM Collections unite us with students". The events that took place were part of the series of events of the STM "Museum Days and Nights 2014: The collections of museums unite us".

For the first time, the student organizations, the cultural groups of the University of Patras and the above bodies collaborated and contributed to the successful organization and conduct of an event of this size, through the exchange and coupling of different objects. During the events that started to take place from 1:00 p.m. until the end of the day, numerous visitors and students from all departments of the University of Patras gathered and followed the events at the festival and were informed about various issues that concern the modern generation such as finding work, studying abroad, safe use of the Internet and raising awareness on issues such as volunteering, blood donation and bone marrow supply.

The culmination of all these actions was the parallel tour of the temporary exhibitions of the Museum, the presentation of the results of the activity of the cultural groups of the University and the impressive stargazing of the starry sky of Patras with the Astronomical Society of Patras "Orion".
