The cycle of events of the Science and Technology Museum "New Communication Technologies and the Internet" continues with the following events:

The event "Studying using the Internet", was held with great success, on November 6, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

It was co-organized by the Science and Technology Museum and the Employment, Career & Liaison Office of the University of Patras. It was addressed to the students of the University, mainly the freshmen and was open to the public. The aim of the event was to help students understand how to use the Internet better and more safely.

Speeches were heard by: Elli Panagiotopoulou, Counseling Psychologist of the Employment, Career & Liaison Οffice of the University of Patras, "A new hobby: THE INTERNET", Nikolaos Avouris, professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Patras, "Social Networks and Learning", Stylianos Mystakidis & Fieroula Papadatou from the Library and Information Center (LIC) of the University of Patras, "21st Century Library and the Internet: A Gateway to Knowledge", Konstantinos - Panagiotis Costopoulos and Kyriaki Chronopoulou, Career Counselors of the Employment, Career & Liaison Οffice of the University of Patras, "Career Opportunities and the Internet", Ilias Aristidis, Supporting staff of the Laboratories of the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics, Head of the ICT Department, Computer Lab (Computer Center), "Abuse and Risks of Cyber ​​Capabilities", Nafsika Zevgoli, Corporate Responsibility Professional at Vodafone Greece, "Vodafone bsafeonline: We Learn to Use the Internet with Safety", Violeta Sigala, Psychotherapist - Director of the Child Psychiatric Department of the Karamandaneio Children's Hospital of Patras "Internet addiction and its treatment".
