With great success was held at the Science and Technology Museum, on Thursday, March 22, 2012, the Event-A Tribute to Marie Curie, for Students. The event was attended by the schools that participated in the "Network of Schools for Volunteerism centered at the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras" 1st High School of Patras, Model Experimental High School of Patras, 7th Junior High School of Patras, Junior High School of Kastritsi, and the 13th Junior High School of Patras.
The event was open to the public and was broadcast by live streaming.
Greetings were given by George Panagiotakis, Professor, Rector of the University of Patras, Evangelos Vitoratos, Professor, Director of the STM UP, Eugenia Pierri, Director of Secondary Education of the Prefecture of Achaia, Eleni Hantziou, French Language Consultant of Western Greece, Georgia Petropoulou-Conan, Director of the French Institute of Patras.
In the context of the event, the participating school groups presented the following: Group of students of the 13th Junior High School of Patras, "The life of Marie Curie in a comic through the eyes of the students", Group of students of the Junior High School of Kastritsi, "Marie Curie: A female symbol", Group of students of the 1st High School of Patras, "Marie Curie as a Volunteer", Group of students of the 7th Junior High School of Patras, "The Red Cross inspires, Marie Curie is active", Junior High School of Arsakeio "Marie Curie and Radioactivity", Group of Experimental High School Students," Ra + soutiengorge → supported release ↑ ΔΥ <0 ".
In continuation, a teleconference was held with Dr. Huynh Van Nhan Renaud, Director of the Curie Museum in Paris. Each of the participating school groups asked two questions about Marie Curie to the Director of the Curie Museum in French (a simultaneous translation was available).
