Science & Technology Museum, University of Patras Campus, Greece
The Science and Technology Museum and the Department of Geology of the University of Patras in collaboration with the Departments of Environmental Education and Cultural Affairs of Secondary Education of the Prefecture of Achaia participated in the event of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism "Culture and Environment", which in 2011 was dedicated to water.
The event entitled "Culture and Environment 2011: Water" was organized from October 3 - 7, 2011 and was addressed to students of the 9th grade of Junior High School and 12th grade of High School students, but also to anyone interested. It included two different lectures each day on the subject of water and guided tours (before or after the lectures) in the temporary geological photography exhibition "Geoworks2", at the museum, with the support of the students from the Department of Geology.
The lectures took place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. while the school and student groups were guided to the geological photography exhibition "Geoworks2" from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
