The Informative Meeting with Primary and Secondary Education teachers took place on Monday, May 25, 2009, at 6 p.m. in the context of the International Museum Day and the opening of the Science and Technology Museum to society. The Meeting was organized in collaboration with the Heads of Environmental Education of the Primary and Secondary Education of the Prefecture of Achaia and the Achaia Branch of the Union of Greek Physicists.

Initially, the teachers were guided to the premises of the Science and Technology and to the exhibition "Telecommunications in our lives". They were then taken to the auditorium of the Museum, where the Regional Director of Primary and Secondary Education Mr. T.Birbas, and the Dean of the School of Natural Sciences and Acting Director of the Science and Technology Museum Mr.A.Zelilidis, Professor addressed a greeting.

The Coordinator of the "Working team for the organization of the Exhibition", Emeritus Professor of the Department of Physics Mr.Deligiannis and Mrs.P.Theologi-Gouti, Architect Mech-Ethnologist from the Science and Technology Museum, presented the objectives of the exhibition, peculiarities of telecommunications, the educational programs that have been implemented so far and their proposals for Educational programs for the coming school year.

A discussion followed and proposals were documented for the beginning of the Museum's cooperation with Primary and Secondary Education. The event ended with the screening of excerpts from the movie “From Beacons to the Internet”.
