A copy of an Acoustic Telegraph used in the campaigns of Alexander the Great.
It consisted of a tripod, about 4m high, joined at the top, from which hung a large round horn, tied with a rope.
The way the horn was hung allowed it to rotate so that the signal went in all directions. It could be heard clearly, even at a distance of 4km. depending on the morphology of the soil and the direction of the wind.
