Portable transistor radio with colored rubber coating, made in the 1990s. It was made to be used in the bathroom, pool, or sea because the water-resistant, rubber-cased coating protects it from the water. It comes in a variety of colors. It is an important example of the evolution of transistor design, which is why it is exhibited at the MOMA in New York and the Center Pompidou in Paris.
