The Curator of the Science and Technology Museum Mrs. Peny Theologi-Gouti, VicePresident of the Greek Section of ICOM and member of the ICOM Resolutions Committee participated in the presentation of the resolutions at a special Round Table organized on August 22, 2022, in the context of the 26th Triennial General Conference of ICOM, in Prague, with the theme “The Power of Museums”.
She presented the resolution of the working group “Language diversity and overcoming language barriers for equitable participation of all ICOM members” of which she was the coordinator and answered questions from members from all over the world.
The other two resolutions presented by the respective groups are:
“Collections management during and after armed conflicts” and “For active participation of all National Committees and balanced access to ICOM resources”.
The Round Table was attended by ICOM members from all over the world, in person or through an online platform. All three proposals were passed with more than 93% of the vote.
