The Science and Technology Museum (STM), of the University of Patras, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Directorate of Secondary Education of the Prefecture of Achaia and the Patras Branch of the French Institute of Athens, jointly organized at the STM "Days of screening of French children's quality cinema in combination with short introductory tours at the STM and the temporary exhibition "La Bande Dessinée - The French look at the comics" from February 28 to March 11, 2011, at the Auditorium of the STM. The schools had the opportunity to choose their tour of the exhibition and the Museum before or after the screening of the film.
The exhibition was designed and implemented by the French Institute of Athens and MAMOUTH, which specializes in French-language publications. It is implemented in Patras as a result of the cooperation of the Patras Branch of the French Institute with the STM of the University of Patras and the Department of Cultural Affairs of the secondary level. It is inspired by the book of the same name by Patrick Gaumer, author of the World Dictionary of Comics. One of the biggest comic book schools is French. The French and Belgian Bandes Dessinées (B.D for friends), full of adventure and mystery, entertained many generations of readers of all ages, sharpening their imagination.
